Chris Shoup, CFP®

Hi, I’m Chris Shoup – Principal and Financial Planner at Southshore Financial Planning. I enjoy partnering with individuals and families to guide them through the complexities of retirement so they can live life to the fullest.

Professionally, I am a CFP® Practitioner and have two finance-related degrees. My entire 20+ year career has been dedicated to serving individuals and families in the financial services industry.

Before founding Southshore Financial Planning, I spent 11 years at one of the largest financial institutions in the country where I was directly responsible for a $700 million client practice.

On a personal note, my wife Heather and I are parents to three teenage boys. In our free time, we enjoy spending time traveling, hiking, fishing, and watching the Tampa Bay Lightning.
